SHANTI STUPA

Shanti Stupa is the Buddhist religious shrine with a white dome located on the hill top of Chanspa which is around 5 Km away from Leh. The major highlight of Shanti Stupa is the panoramic views. There is a relief of Dharmachakar with deer and also a deity of Golden Buddha. The best time to visit Shanti Stupa is from July to September. Sunrise and Sunset is the best time of the day to visit. Shanti Stupa is 2-3 Km away from Leh Main Bazaar. Hiring a cab or renting a bike is the best way to reach the spot.
