TSEMO FORT

Introduction

Tsemo Fort is also known as the ‘Victory Fort’ which lies in the Tsemo Hill. There are number of worship flags in the fort which adorns the fortress. It consists of two temple buildings in the 15th century , three storeys and 8 meter tall gold faced statue of Maitreya Buddha.

HOW TO REACH AND BEST TIME TO VISIT

The best time to visit Tsemo Fort is during the morning and evening so that you can see the monks performing their spiritual ceremonies. The timing to visit Tsemo Fort is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. One can reach the spot by hiring a cab or even can go by walking.
