YARAB TSO LAKE

Yarab Tso is another beautiful fresh water lake located near Panamik village of Nubra Valley. This lake is situated around 15-16 km from Diskit village in Nubra valley. This lake is one of the holy lake in Ladakh and if you doing Manali – Leh – Srinagar bike trip then it is the must visit place. The distance from Leh town is 180-190 km approx. You can rent a car or bike in Leh and reach to this Lake.

HOW TO REACH

This lake is located near Sumur village, 15 km away from Diskit in Leh Ladakh, after a car or bike ride you have to hike up 20 minutes to admit the beauty of this lake. After reaching a point, one must walk for about 10 mins to reach the main lake as vehicles are not allowed.

BEST TIME TO VIIST

Best time to visit this lake during summertime when the lake looks deep blue and it seems like shadow of sky falling on the lake.
